Alpow does not replace the official bulletin or your own judgement. In the mountains, you are responsible for your decisions.

• Forecasts and the Powder score are computed automatically from weather models (Météo-France, ECMWF, DWD). They are estimates, without any guarantee of accuracy.
• The avalanche bulletin (BERA) is Météo-France's, shown verbatim. It describes a massif, not a slope. Always check the official source on meteofrance.com.
• "Today's verdict" is written with the help of an AI from weather models and reviewed by the Alpow team.
• Snow reports come from other skiers and describe what they saw, not the state of every slope. Only post what you saw on site. From a report's "…" menu you can flag it or hide reports from its author. A report flagged three times is hidden, and the publisher can block a device that posts false reports.
• The app is free. Alpow's code and content are protected; third-party data stays under its licences (see Credits).
